Wow, two posts in one day! I played around with the rose close-up a bit more, and decided I liked this black and white version better:

Clearly, I'll need to address my tripod issues soon so I can make longer exposures - giving sharper images (more depth of field, slower shutter speed).

Two weeks since the last post? I didn't think it had been that long! The frequency should pick up shortly -- I have a project that will be starting shortly to help get me back on track.
